We build technology that our concrete imaging industry needs

CREATED BY INDUSTRY-LEADING TECHNICIANS

At Xradar, we don’t just use technology – we build it. Each tool we design starts with a field challenge and ends with a tested solution that improves accuracy, consistency, or speed. From proprietary hardware to data-processing software, our innovations are built in-house to raise the standard of subsurface imaging and reporting. We currently have two complete and highly specialized products, plus a few more in the pipeline.

Why our technology stands apart

Every advancement we make has one goal – to make concrete imaging analysis safer, faster, and more reliable. We are the primary users of our own advanced tech, and it’s why we have one of the lowest error rates in the industry.

Built for real-world conditions

Our hardware is engineered and tested by the same technicians who use it on site – designed to handle demanding environments.

Integrated software and hardware

Our scanning tools, analysis platforms, and reporting systems work together for seamless data accuracy and faster results.

Data transparency and traceability

Our systems log and track every scan, ensuring clear data lineage and accountability across elements of a project.

Field-driven innovation

We build what we need. Each new product comes directly from a problem faced in the field and refined through daily use.

Accuracy that leads the industry

Every innovation supports a core goal: scanning accuracy below 0.03% error – verified, repeatable, and trusted nationwide.

Future-ready and scalable

We’re developing technology that evolves with industry needs – from new hardware designs to advanced NDT data visualization.

Where our technology is headed next

From new subsurface imaging systems to improved data automation, our development roadmap focuses on one goal – giving technicians and engineers faster, more accurate insights.

Future Xradar tools will continue to bridge the gap between field work and data interpretation, reducing turnaround times and improving decision-making on every project.

Your questions about our technology, answered

Our technology is designed, tested, and used by our own teams before it reaches the field. Explore these FAQs to see how Xradar’s innovations help deliver unmatched precision.

MORE FAQS
  • The prototype of XRSounder (as seen at World of Concrete 2025) weighs 50lbs, and has the following dimensions:

    Folded W85 D95 H50cm
    Unfolded W85 D95 H100cm

The measurements of our final go to market product are unconfirmed though. This is information that will be presented within quarterly updates. We are motivated by ensuring the product is compact and agile, whilst being large enough to cover a significant survey area.

  • Your order deposit is fully refundable at any time prior to your specific order going into production. We will communicate with you regarding your order, ensuring you have ample time to choose whether to proceed, before it goes into production. Refund requests can be submitted via email to technology@xradar.com, and refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days back to the original payment method. Refunds will not be issued once production for your specific order has started.

  • By placing a fully refundable order deposit, you’ll secure your spot for a unit. Demand is expected to be high, so orders will be prioritized based on a combination of the deposit amount and the date the order was placed. Customers placing higher deposits may receive priority in the production pipeline. Order placement does not guarantee delivery on a specific date. Quarterly updates will keep you informed. For multiple deposits, please complete the process multiple times.

  • XRSounder is in production and available to purchase now. It is currently in use across Canada and USA, and production is attempting to keep up with demand. We commit to providing updates on production progress to those that have shown interest in purchasing the product. However, please note:

    – Placing a deposit does not guarantee delivery on a specific date

    – Production timelines are subject to change

    – Your deposit does not obligate us to fulfill your order if production does not proceed

    – The deposit remains fully refundable up until the start of production for your specific order

XRSounder Revolutionising Delamination Detection in Concrete Structures

Delamination usually is a by-product of rebar corrosion – when the layer of corrosion begins to form, it causes a separation from the steel and the concrete. Delamination can also form in reinforcement-free topping slabs that debond from the slab on grade due to heavy wear and tear of machinery on the surface.  Identifying and…
