We’ve launched a new website, and we’re excited to show you the future of Xradar.

The new Xradar.com reflects how our business has evolved, and where we’re heading next. It brings together our services, technology, and training in a clearer and more accessible way. Read on to learn more.

For those that don’t already know and trust us, we hope that it gives you some guidance, and helps towards choosing Xradar to partner with.

So, what’s new?

Xradar’s Own Technology

Our own Research & Development team have been working away for years to optimize the technology we use, and in some cases create new technology in order to provide better service to our clients.

For now this includes XRSounder (our cool delamination detection tool that we launched at World of Concrete in 2025), and GRAD (our advanced reporting software that delivers insights and clarity like nothing else).

Both are used in all Xradar locations across Canada and underpin our goal in this area – use our service experience to create technology that our industry truly needs.

Xradar’s Academy program

The training cornerstone of our service level and quality guarantee (did you know we guarantee our scans?). Each Xradar Technician goes through intense structured training over 6+ months before they are able to lead projects.

In the pursuit of perfection, our program is designed to raise the standard of concrete scanning, and helps us keep the error rate incredibly low – currently 0.03%. This core value of excellence doesn’t stop with scanning – it touches every department, on site, and in office.

If you’re new to us, our values, and what we’re all about, learn more here.

Xradar Partnerships

Xradar have key partnerships with other operating companies outside of our Canadian service areas, and we’re always on the hunt for new partnerships in new markets.

We have a framework that we’d like to share globally – if you’re in the industry and would like to learn more, please get in touch.

Client Resources & Global Search

With teams of experts across the country we’ve always wanted to pool that expertise in an accessible way, and now we can do that!

We have a new Resources area, with practical, searchable information there to support your project planning and delivery, in relation to services we offer.

Alongside those areas, we’ve improved how we present our core services and our wealth of project experience, making it easier to understand what we do and how we can support your project from start to finish.

This is just the beginning. We’ll continue to build on this with new content, tools, and resources over time.

Take a look around Xradar.com and let us know what you think.

As ever, if you have any questions, our team are here to help. Contact us below, and thanks for considering Xradar for your next project.

The Importance of Detecting Post-Tension Cables Before Drilling

When it comes to concrete construction, few hazards carry as much risk as post-tension (PT) cables. These high-strength steel tendons are designed to reinforce and stabilize slabs, and they are tensioned with tens of thousands of pounds of force. Striking one while drilling or coring is a costly mistake.
