We are excited to share that Xradar Alberta is expanding! To better support general contractors, structural engineers, and project teams across the province, we have started dispatching from our new Edmonton office.

Establishing a permanent regional hub in Edmonton allows us to bring our specialized Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) capabilities directly to local jobsites, eliminating regional mobilization delays and delivering the dependable, high-precision service our clients rely on.
Our Current Edmonton Service Offering: Concrete Scanning
To ensure our signature standard of quality, our initial offering in the Edmonton metropolitan area will focus on our core technical specialty: Concrete Scanning.
Utilizing advanced high-frequency GPR systems, our technicians map concrete structures before any cutting, coring, or anchoring takes place. Local scanning capabilities include:
- Locating and mapping rebar patterns and post-tension cable profiles.
- Identifying embedded conduits, duct banks, and mechanical piping.
- Detecting subsurface voids, slab thickness variations, and structural anomalies.
As our local presence grows, in time we will expand our Edmonton service line to include Concrete Coring and Cutting, offering an integrated workflow from diagnostic scanning through physical site execution. As of now (September 2026) though we are still able to support Concrete Coring requests from Calgary.
